Popular modder Kaze Emanuar has released a trailer for the full release of Super Mario Odyssey 64 , a recreation of Nintendo Switch darlingSuper Mario Odyssey in the engine ofSuper Mario 64. It combines some of the mechanics, enemies, and locales fromOdyssey while attempting to keep the chunky nostalgia of the first 3DMario game, and information technology's available for complimentary right now.

TheMario series, andSuper Mario 64 in particular, accept some of the largest histories of any game franchise when it comes to hacks, mods, and fan games. Just recently, YouTube user MrComit released a remake of the originalMario Party game in64's engine, and not too long before that Emanuar himself released aSuper Mario 64 remake of the Nintendo GameCube titleSuper Mario Sunshine. With the possibility of more 3DMario Switch remasters around the corner, the remake and recreation ouroboros shows no sign of stopping.

From the trailer on Emanuar's YouTube channel it's easy to run into this is a total-fledged recreation of theMario Odysseyexperience.
